Bel Fiore Wood-fired Pizza

Review of Bel Fiore Wood-fired Pizza
Traditional wood-fired pizzeria in Dural.
Located in The Village Green shop 3, Kenthurst Road Round Corner, Bel Fiore is a new family friendly, family run, pizzeria offering a delicious range of wood-fired pizza’s, fresh made pasta’s and deserts with a frequently changing specials board which would be the envy of any Italian Pizzeria. It also has arguably the best tasting coffee in the Hills.
The heart of the cosy and warm pizzeria is the beautiful wood fired pizza oven from which the crisp, thin based pizza’s, topped with fresh ingredients cloaked in tasty, melted Buffalo mozzerella are drawn.
The pizza’s are masterfully cooked and are hand-rolled from the finest flour giving them a distinctive and traditional taste. The tomatoes for the base and Buffalo mozzarella for the topping are imported from Italy and are of premium quality. The philosophy here is simple- concentrate on individual flavours, using a few key fresh ingredients and cook to perfection. This philosophy rings true with Pizza’s such as the Rustica, a delicious mix of salami, sliced ham, Italian Pork sausage (made on the premises) and pepperoni, which comes with a BBQ sauce option on the base as well. Or the hard to go past 4 Formaggi, which translates into four cheeses,(mozzarella, sweet gorgonzola, fontina and parmesan) served melted straight from the hot stone of the pizza oven. Already a favourite is The Bel Fiore special which comes with sliced ham and Spanish onion, mushroom, capsicum, olives and anchovies and everyone will love the simple but more-ish margherita pizza.
The pasta sauces at Bel Fiore are cooked fresh to order and are made from the highest quality and freshest of ingredients. The favourites at the moment are the Polpette (meatballs), Pesto Genovese, which can be ordered with chicken and the fettuccini Boscaiola, which is made with prosciutto. There is also a great variety of tasty salads with liberal amounts of salad veggies peppered through-out. Just when you think this meal can’t get any better, out comes the dessert menu. Check the specials board for seasonal and tempting dessert options like the Baked Ricotta Cheesecake and Balsamic Strawberries with Mascarpone cream or maybe a couple of scoops of creamy gelato from the menu will tempt you? If asked nicely, the chef will make the famous Nutella Pizza, which is known to silence a table into just the simple hushed sounds of mmmmm!
The quaint dining room is welcoming and has a divine mural hand-painted on one wall and gorgeous drawings from children diners up on another. The soft lighting, terracotta tiles on the floor, traditional wooden furniture coupled with the gracious and informed wait staff, give the dining room a warm and inviting tone and sets the mood for an enjoyable and memorable dining experience.
The dining room fits up to 60 people so bookings are recommended. There are a few outside tables also available and can be booked for any occasion!
